It has been a very rewarding week in West Bay as the train carriage has finally arrived at The Station Kitchen.
After months of researching vintage train carriages, Sausage and Pear were super excited when their offer was accepted for 1911 carriage, that was used to transport injured British troops back during the battle of the Somme.
The carriage has been brought to the track with the sole purpose of increasing the seating capacity for the restaurant. There will also be a cocktail bar and a lounge area in the carriage.
The carriage can also be a perfect place to hold your wedding reception. And with Sausage and Pear, the best wedding caterers in the South West on hand, you are guaranteed to have a feast fit for kings on your special day.
The carriage is already being booked out for private functions, as it can hold a seating capacity of up to 50 guests. If you are planning a private function or Christmas party, get in touch!..
